I am installing a system into my 02 Toyota Tundra Access Cab, as follows:
Front doors: ADS 320is new in box
Subs: Image Dynamics 8" subs (2) D4 in Q Logic enclosure in rear seat
Rear doors: CDT 6.5 coaxials for fill - run off head unit amp (Pioneer AVH3300BT)
Amplifier choices:
A -
Soundstream D200II (100 w/ ch) for front door mid-woofer
Xtant b2100 (50 w/ ch) for front door tweeter
Coustic XM6 electronic crossover
Elemental Design Nine.2X for subwoofers 200 w/ ch or 600 bridged to mono
or
B -
McIntosh 440 (6 channels)
2 100w channels for the subs
50 w/ channel for mid-woofers
50 w/channel for tweeter
Internal X-over in Mac 440 (or, Coustic can be used)
Which would be the better choice ? I have room for either. Much favor SQ over db's ...
For either approach - is it better to bridge the subwoofer amp to mono, and run
both subs from a single (more powerful) channel ?
Thanks for any help, suggestions, info ...
