I would say neither. Are you against buying from Ebay, or used/refurbished equipment?

150 watts are too much for factory

It would be best to get some aftermarket speakers. Most factory speakers can only handle around 10-15 watts if even that.

thats bull cuz my speakers are being powered by my hu wich is 22rms ...so 12 is bull

most HU are around 10-15...remember rms is "subjective"

also, amplified sound is a lot cleaner.

cuz like the place i bought my HU says 22rms...and someone also told me to keep it around 40 if your ganna use an amp. Like i really cant afford to put down another 150 on speakers then another 100 on an amp then another 80 on someone to install it. thats why i really wanna try and just put a cheap amp that will make my factory speakers a little better. Im not trying to make my system like stellar but tryin not to make it shitty either u kno. If u kno of any speakers that will do a decent job and are pretty cheap ill gather all the info i can get.

This is my HU and it says under technical specifications 22rms...
