Which amp would work better?

Ok so I have two alpine type r's and my plan is to run them of a mono block and I was looking at the d-class crunch gp2500 or the newer gpv2000 which is a/b class. My plan is to run them at 1ohm. This is all keeping in mind I have a 1000 watt amp for my speakers (so like 125 at 4 ohm) and am driving a v8 mountaineer. Input on whether this will kill my battery or a better suggestion for an amp (staying around 200$ cause I just want some good thumpin not goin crazy) would be greatly appreciated-Thanks

Should be fine with that Crunch amp. I would stick with the class D IMO.
