Which amp would be best for me?

I'm new to audio and know very little.I bought two 12" kicker comp subs yesterday. now i do have a cheaper HU but ive been told i can still make it work fine. i just need to know what size amp would be good for me because i've been told i only need a 300 watt amp and also been told i need 800-1200 watt amp. im on a budget so i wont be able to buy anything top of the line. thanks in advance.

Your subs are rated for 150 watts each so 3-500 watts is ideal. I wouldn't run more than 500 watts to them though.

alright thanks. it says theyre 8 ohms so is their a specific way to wire them?

single i believe. they only have 1 set of terminals on each

You will need a amp that puts out 300-500 rms at a 4ohm load.

Yes.

on a budget look at apsm 1500 around $100 wire it to 4ohm and when you get a better set of subs then you can wire that apsm at 1 ohm and get around 1k clean
