Which amp kit for a RE 12.1?

Its going to be ran off of my stock electrical system in a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer. I wondering wheter to get a 4 Gauge or a 1/0 Gauge kit for it. Also, when you recomend which guage, can you also recomend some good brands/sites?

0 gauge to the trunk, then get a distro block to split to 4 gauge.

I run 4guage to my 12.1. It doesnt need any bigger

4 gauge would be fine, but I agree with the 0 guage to the trunk than 4 guage Distro block if ur planning on getting another amp for speakers or more for subs later, etc...

distrobution block lets you split (distribute) a main power/ground wire into two or more wires, most times going from one large one into smaller ones.

Good things to have so just incase u ever decide u need a amp for new speakers up front

ya can't go wrong with welding supply. i think it's faster to get it in 25' increments. but you can just get one 25 footer and slice off the extra for a ground
