I would run the JL,for one, they make some fantastic amps,and are easily available to get here in the US/swapped out under warranty other than the Genesis in which is not, and will take months to get a replacement under warranty if it is not a discontinued model from Germany that was bought Whole sale/discontinued prices and sold here..I have a friend that name I will not mention ,that bought a genesis anplifier, and waited for over 4 months to get the amp under warranty, as it did not meet standards running at min of 4 ohms,and even then, never got the same replacement through the seller..Same issue with myself with the O2 3way components I had purchased didnt meet the rms standards/met less of 50 rms,and cooked the xovers..sent in under warranty, and took 3 months to finally get an answer/phone # in Germany for warranty from the seller here in the US.By speaking with them..the items purchased from the seller found to be discontinued items, and the buyer knew these were discontinued items, and sold to me knowingly,while buying at a whole sale price/discontinued price,in which voided warranty..I later got store credit,as this could have been further a real issue for taking me,as a consumer for a ride/ripping me off so to speak.Yet, letting them know the issue I found with my warranty,and where I stood as a consumer,landed me store credit,in which ive yet to use.I believe that the German products being presented here to us in the US is more of the low grade/entry level garbage that cant be sold there, and bought cheaply from distributors, and sold at a severe mark up price of 150%-200% to fill the pockets of those trying to rip us off..But Its NEW,and Different,and GERMAN Made??Thats what gets us to believe its a great buy, as once the MB QUART line were German made, and some of the best within the market..those days are long gone,more like 15yrs ago..So Jl has been around for years and do make great products,and sure you may be whipping out your wallet for those extra few dollars, yet, at least you can get a known quality made amplifier, and a replacement under warranty without any issues.I myself..will never buy another German made amplifier/nor new,and have and will stick with the good old USA made amps..Zapco is USA made, and have fanstastic sq/powerful amplifiers for the money,and Zed Audio..Thats what I know, and have experienced..out of the 2/Id go with the JL bottom line
