which amp for L7

i have 2 dual 4 ohm kicker L7 subs ...2002 model and i'm wondering what amp to get for them i want them to hit hard there in a sealed box but that will change later to ported. what amp should i get the mtx 8100d 750 x1 1500 x1 @ 2 ohm . mtxthunder 942 235 x2 940x 1 or jbl 1200.1

i had the rockford fosgate 1500bd but it dont hit that hard i had them wired every way and it just dont like the amp . so hellp me out

1500 watts on two of those isnt shit.

i have nearly 2k watts per sub and they still have room to grow.

i wouldnt touch any of the crap you posted other than mtx, and save up for a mtx 1000d *(seems like you shop at circuit city or best buy, so i'm sticking around where you are.)* or get another rockford 1500.1d or whatever. they can easily take that with the proper adjustments.

also i'd look into building a ported box. sealed boxes are the worst things possible for those subs. i know i compete with them. i'd look to go 3.5 cubes with ports tuned at 40 htz with each one. then you'll see them come to life.

i heard 2 12" L7's in a ported box with a planet audio 1250 on them......sounded pretty good though
