... im thinking the choice is A.. but i dont want to blow the db650's (no i havent bought anything yet)

and will this be a big noticeable difference then the 22rms i am used to?

My Kenwood 4 channel is giving 75WRMS to my DB650s. They can handle the little extra power with no problems.

I replied in your other thread, but I like them alot. They sound great and arent too expensive.

Oh dont worry about something small like a 15 rms difference; just dont max out the gain;set it properly and you'll do FINE! It's better to have a bit more to work with for the future or if anything comes up. My Alpine SPX's are rated for 75 rms and I gave them 150 daily; i just was sure to be conservative on the gain; no harm will be done.

I'm in the same boat as tintgirl running the db650 on factory system 160 peak. Will the difference be huge adding the proper amp and would I be able to get a little bit stronger bass. I hear good things about the MMC (MOMO) line. My db6500's were ok but I didn't like the tweeter much, it was kind of harsh at moderate+ levels. Go with the MMC's if you can. And yes, 75 watts rms will be a big improvement over the 22 rms you had (from the HU I assume). You can even go a little higher with the MOMO's, just make sure the signal is clean.
