which amp for 2 12W7's??

im planning on running 2 12w7's here soon and i cant decide on which amps i want to run with them. i previously had 1 12w7 in my civic powered by a 1000bd rockford that i loved. im thinking of either rockford, hifonics, jl, or memphis. if u have any input for me on which model and power range u think i should stick to please post what u think. i probably going to do 2 amps (one for each sub) but if someone knows an amp that would be decent for 2 12w7's then please tell me.

this is probably what im going to be thinking about buying, either

2- Power T10001b rockford's

2- 1001bd rockford's

2- 1501bd rockford's

2- hifonics bx 1500d's

2- Jl 500/1's

1- Memphis Mojo 16-MC2000D

2- Memphis class D's 16-MCD1000

if u have any experiences or referrals for me, im all open to new ideas!!

You don't need a single amp for each sub you can find amps that can put enough power to run those W7s, look into Directed, Viper, Orion and Crossfire.

All of them have 1000+ watts amps that can run the 1.5 ohm load given by those two subs.

what if i wanted to stick to the brands i mentioned above like Rockford, Memphis, Jl or hifonics cuz i have no orion or viper dealers near me. which of their model amps would be good for me cuz i need to know what i should be looking for

i've got 2 12w7 in a camaro each running their own jl 1000/1, but originally i had them both on one of the jl amps and even then it pounded, but if you got the $$$ and want the boom, i throw my bet on 2 jl 1000/1's but yes their are other amps out their like the orion 2500d which i also had my eye on for a while

I think JL does the single 3 and dual 1.5 to try to get people who don't know any better to get their amps since they're rated 1.5-4ohms and most other amps are 1,2,4 ect..... And to the average consumer they don't know the VERY slight power difference between 1.5 ohms and 1 ohm.... 3 ohms or 4 ohms ect....

we're both wrong and right.

the older w7s were 3 ohm DVC and the newer ones are 1.5ohm SVC. called JL. hehe

see if you can sell that rockford and get 2 pg 1200.1 xeon's you can get them on onlinecarstereo.com w/a 1 yr warranty or even sounddomain.com or thezeb (who does price matches)
