For the price RE 8s are sum nice lil woofers. I saw a setup w/ 8 of em off 1500 watts do a 146.? and bassrace a 142. There were similar systems w/ more power doing better numbers but didnt seem as loud to ear as these.
I know u wanna keep price down but if u can find sum DD 1508/1008s for a good price jump on em. Used to have 4 of em and was sooo impressed by build quality and their output.
