Which 6.5's to get

I have around 220 for 2 pair of 6.5's what would be the best speakers i could get for that price. Wut should i get for my front and rear. I plan on buying a jbl 80.4 to run the speakers i get. thanks for the info

havent heard the alpine type x's but i know the type r's sound really nice.....the jbl 80.4 only puts out the 80w @ 2ohms so if u dont have a pair of speakers to run in parallel then you only going to be getting 40w rms....thought i'd let u know about that.....if thats a problem check out us acoustics...they make some decent 2 and 4 channel amps ......if u had a bit more i'd suggest the adire kodas.....

you need at LEAST 75 watts per side for Koda's...

This is actually an issue that I am researching right now because I'd like to replace my Kicker K57.2 seperates up front with some 6.5 seperates. Focal's 165K has been my first choice, but Alpine's new stuff for 2003 looks pretty nice too.

unless Alpine REALLY improved the tweets, stay away from teh Type R... but, go take a listen, its personal preference in teh end
