Looking at these three sets Of components all around 150 bucks and 100w. Which have u heard or would recommend? Looking for a nice balance and highs not too harsh. If u kno a better set for less please tell..

Digital Designs CS6.5, I do not know the direct price, but they can be had anywhere from 130-150 on the forum. The T2 tweeter is very defined but it doesn't get harsh when you crank the volume, one of my favorite tweets that I've personally tried, Only one that comes to mind that I liked more was the Focal 165VR.

I wouldn't recommend the Type R's, I had the SPR-17C set, and the tweet was very harsh past 80% volume and the mid-bass was undefined and lacking.

I've had the type r components and currently running the image dynamics components.IMO the ID components are better than the type r's,Kenwood is **** to me,and idk about the kappas no experience with them whatsoever.

Ok..alpine def out. Ctx look like wat it is but have heard ppl say good things bout kappas? Im going to get a matching set Of 6.5 coaxs for the rear when i figure out what im gonna get.

Ive heard good things about the Kappas as well but ive also heard there not that great on mid bass dont know if thats true though.Are you planning on amping your speakers?The IDs didn't really shine until I amped them.
