Which 5.25" components to match 4x6 Boston Acoustics 746?

I just got a red Fiero GT fastback in nice condition.

The radio & speakers are stock, and, well, you get the idea.

Side pillars are 4x6, and I read good things about the

Boston Acoustics plate speaker, model 746 link.

For the front, with some adapters I'll cook up in the shop,

I can fit 5.25" in the 4x10 hole (+tweeter, if not elsewhere)

This is actually the correct sound-stage, bigger speakers in front.

I don't have a way of comparing the BA 746 by itself, or probably anything I will buy,

so I need some input on their tone, timbre, highs, etc.

Note:

I may install a couple subs behind the seats next summer,

but would prefer to have great mid-bass out of the 5.25"

/bass, as the sub(s) can't be much greater than 8" anyway.

I looked into Focals a while back for a Miata . .. wish I could afford them.

In my price range, that I have found:

MB Quart Reference (RVF 213)

Boston Acoustics SX50 (SL80 might fit)

Alpine 'Type-R' SPR-13S

The headunit I'm looking at is the Alpine 9884.

Better sensitivity than all of this year's MB Quart.

I wonder what the sensitivity is of the BA 746,

I'm looking at JL audio now.

My 5.25" budget is (ebay prices) under $200.
