Ide say the 15s, but unless u can really get a good price on them, then i would switch companies if your trying to acheive spl.

the L7s' would b louder but the Type-Rs' would sound cleaner

which 15" Type-Rs' are you talking about 2004 or 2005?

YEAH. It all depends on what kinda car you have? How much you wanna spend? And what the mix of SPL and SQ is. And if you have a amp yet? If so what amp do U have? For SPL look at some different compaines.

For SPL the Kicker L7's would be the better of the 3 options IMO.

The Type R is a great daily speaker, sounds really nice, sounds nice and loud, all around great speaker, again IMO.

I have never owned or heard a type X so I can't comment.

idk... im just comparing subs. Id obviously power them to there rms capability though.
