What's your major?

1. Accounting

2. W.P. Carey School of business at ASU

3. Make millions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

hmm my degree is in information technology and network engineering and Im a network administrator.

How long have you been in the field? A couple of years out of school this is usually true but long term I would guess that the majority of people end up doing something different although the degree helps them get there.

Take Carly Fiornia for example. Former CEO of HP. Her degree was in midevil history...not sure how that qualifies her to be CEO of HP (although she wasn't a very good one at that) but she snowed someone into thinking she was the right person for the job.

My degree is in electronics and I'm a technical instructor (teach people how to install and maintain ATMs, security and surveilance systems). While my electronics degree got me the initial job as a tech it doesn't really do much for me now...I'd be better off haveing a teaching credential for the job I do now.

No way in hell I could be a network admin. I have a few friends who when that route and they tell me the horror stories...said it was great for the first few years then they got tired of being someone whipping boy.

1. Electrical Engineering

2. University of North Texas (Soon to be Texas Tech University)

3. Something involving cars: IE. designing the amazingly fancy electrical systems in a Mercedes/Lexus/really any automobile manufacturer.

3a. I'd like to someday build my own amplifiers, but I doubt that will come until I have all my retirement in order and am extremely financially secure.

We have alot of engineers amongst us. Go build something ****ers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I've got this whole college thing in my head now...

But also, I could go to school forf just 2 more years and be a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant). My friends mom is an Occupational Therapist and she says her assistants make anywhere from $28/hr to $35/hr... which is **** good money around here.

Ahhh getting old and having to make decisions is bullshit. I remember when the only decisions I had to make was if I was going to watch Rugrats or go outside and eat mud. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

If you go after a degree/occupation just for the money you will hate your life in a few years.
