Favorite foods

1. Bistec au Povre. Beef Tenderloin crusted in black peppercorns, seared and roasted (I almost never use the grill for steak anymore. Searing and roasting makes it much easier to get a nice crust and control the meat temp. Fantastic with some roasted corn with cilantro-lime butter and roasted yukon gold potatoes. 2. If we're going to talk about frying shit, we can't leave out good old Wisconsin cheese curds. Nothing like fat covered in carbs, cooked in more fat, and then dipped in even more fat (ranch dressing). And there's nothing like good old Wisconsin cheddar.

3. Chocolate covered bananas.

4. Homemade eclaire's with pumpin filling dipped in a dark chocolate ganache (made some of these for Thanksgiving and I just about died from all the goodness).

Wrong.

Fries, Gravy, cheese shit. Some places use actual cheese, some places use those funny white blocks of cheese shit, I don't know what you call it, but theres no bbq sauce here.
