Anyone here know if the sensitivity on the IDMax12 d4 V.2 israted at 2.83v/1m or 1w/1m? In the manual it's rated at 93.1db.

Then in the v3 manual they have some weird rating.

what does that mean? 88.1db?

1w/1m means 1 watt at 1 meter

93.1 is ground plane measured

88.1 is nominal calculated

one is fine the other is scratchy and you here it pressing in on the cone...the coil reads odd....as well...not sure what happened...i'm either hoping to find a cheap single replacement or selling the good one to someone who might have one go out on them....i had planned on running them with my horns....

fior the price my old cdt es620's were the worse sounding comps i ver purchased. the tweeters were awesome but the mids totally lacked in midbass. i had the doors deadened to hell and back and had the powered with a dls A3 per door. these speakers sucked for metal

i had some mb quart qsd216's and i wrapped the tweeter house with 5 layers of panty hose... still was too harsh!
