Yeah, which is why I posted it in the speaker section. I wouldn't post a review that wasn't mine in the review section. He said that I was trying to sell them, but nowhere in the thread did I ever once mention somebody buying them or asking somebody to contact me for a price. Nothing of the sort.

He absolutely just got upset because I called him out on his transparent insults towards the company and the speakers.

I said something in the thread about you advertising and you agreed you were. You mentioned something about the price as well as them using your pictures. This is a simple concept.

You have an affiliation with PHD. You are on their team. You have something to gain.

Nuthuggers dont have any affiliation or have anything to gain by recommending their favorite brand.

Sure you can do a review of what ever product you want, when the review benefits you by being on their team, your a rep, etc. then you are advertising.

I never attacked the company nor did I say they were bad speakers. I did say for having an MSRP price of $800 they look like crap.

Tyler, do you understand what sarcasm is? Apparently not, or else you would have realized in that thread I was using it when I agreed that my post was "ploy"

If I already get a deal for being on the team, what do I have to gain from "advertising" their products?

It's a less known brand in the U.S. I am encouraging people to look into the company, not to buy the product. If they like the product, they can purchase it. If not then they do not. Simple concept, am I right?

Never even knew anything of the company other than the logo until now. Isn't that what some of us come here for? To learn?

I agree. This is a forum to learn. However, we do have vendor accounts now. With that being said if we allowed a team member to post up a review of a product they represent without having a vendor subscription any of our vendors would just cancel their accounts, post reviews, and get free advertising.

I find that very hard to believe. Vendors are allowed to sell and display prices etc. I merely posted a review of a company that few to none of the members on this forum have heard of.
