what's the difference between 4 ohm stereo and 4 ohm mono?

the specs on my amp reads
50 x 4 @ 4 ohms STEREO

100 x 4 @ 2 ohms stereo

200 X 2 at 4 ohms bridged MONO

my question is what's the difference between 4 ohm mono and 4 ohm stereo?
I think "stereo" just tells you it can amplify two separate input signals, which are usually left & right in a modern car stereo.

Assuming there's no typo, I think the inclusion of "mono" for your amp means it will sum your left & right input signals and then amplify them both at each of two outputs, both of which will receive 200 watts when driving 4 ohm loads.

Then again I'm high.
