What's it take...db

Anybody have pictures of a trunk setup that does 145+ on music @ around 34hz??
I'd like to get an idea of what kind of power/box(walled, ported, 4th)/setup I'd need to hit the higher numbers on the low bass notes.
my wife does about 143.8 average in her car from the trunk with about 4-500rms give or take the imp rise & voltage drop, also her small power wire. she has stock alt, 1 yellow top only under hood, and 8ga power wire(
i dont see any reason why you should be able to do it pretty easily honestly. just get the install done correctly and the subs & amp you choose should do work

As far as sub and port orientation, it really depends on the car. Firing into the car is your best option in most cases, if possible (not possible without a lot of modification in my and Timmy's case)

Car makes a diff also. If 34Hz is way below your res freq it will be that much harder as you will be fighting cabin gain. My altima with a wall peaked at 49Hz, with a trunk box it peaks at 51hz, so being loud at 34Hz isn't easy.

2 12's or 2 15's would do it pretty easily in the right box. Also have a guy on my team with 4 10's in a 4th order that would do it NP. Was peaking at 32Hz before I redid the port to peak a little higher.

So basically... proper designed and built box, beefier woofers, more power, and tons of deadener... What style box usually produces the best results from a trunk?
