ya thair def 06...and ya they will get pretty loud for what you pay for them

IT IS AN O6 THE 04-05 WERE SILVER AND THE 08 HAS A NEW SMALLER BASKET, THE SPECS ARE THE SAME ON IT THO IT WILL POUND i JUST INSTALLED 2 WITH A BRUTUS 2010D YESTERDAY for a customer. sorry had caps on and im drunk so i aint retypping all that.

sound wise not really ive owned both ...looks the 08s have almost a flat cone vs the 06 that the cone goes in...i personally like my 06 better than the 08

the 06 has a shorter basket meaning it does not go all the way to the bottom of the motor, causing the coils to over heat and melt. (happened to a friend) The 08 model was fixed of this problem.

long story short: get a 08

you have it backwards the 08 basket is shorter and the cone is flatter to compensate for it but has better vc formers. and they all have severe coil issues and kicker does not warranty any coil problems, trust me, I am a dealer.

well the warrentied my friends.....and they said that many people were having trouble with them because the way the basket is. then included the fact that the 08 will be better.

i dont care what you say thats what happened..... take it or leave it

so what do you think i should get if i dont get kicker.

T1's look ugly as hell, as do Type R. W6 12's cant handle 1500 watts. 13 W7 is to low ohm load. I want to stick to the name stuff. What do you guys recommend?

First off what amp are you using? Are you looking for SQ or SPL?
