hey what u guys think of this system im gettin. its gonna be sony explode 1000 watt amp, ima planning on gettin 2 of thoses and four 12's, however im wondering if the box i got is any good. its for four 12's but it is 2 on one side and 2 on the oppisite side, it looks like a normal sealed two 12's box but bigger. u think it will give good bass? my front speakers are cerwin vegas 3 way full range loud speakers, it has built in tweeter, those good? and i was wonderin should i get tweeters? well what yall think

i would defenitly get tweeters because with four 12"s the bass will drown out the rest of the sound.

Well I just thought I'd tell you.. Don't go for Sony, at least not for amp and sub.. There's alot of companies that delivers better products for ur bass.. for instance: JL, Alpine, Genesis, DLS...

Yes there are alot more but the more budget minded company that comes to mind and would more than likely be good for your situation is Hifonics. If you look around on the forums long enough (which wouldnt take very long actually) then you would hear about them. The best place to buy them would be http://www.ikesound.com or off of ebay. I got mine off of ebay and it works wonders. You would need one of their mono amplifiers which there is a bx500d which is 500 watts @ 1 ohm, bx1000d which is 1000 watts @ 1 ohm, and then theres the bx1500d which is 1500 watts @ 1 ohm. All of these wattage figures are RMS wattages as well. That sony amp you were looking at would be lucky to even get close to its rated output. And then if it did get there it wouldnt last long.
