I'm trying to do a 3-way active set up. Products I have already and my plans on placements.
I have 8" kicker midbass or ID's oem 6.5
I have 2- sundown 100.4
I have diamond audio 6.5 hex s600 series comps.
now I plan on running the ID's or the 8" kickers in the doors for the midbass running of 1 of the 100.4 bridged!! I'm trying to get a good amount of midbass from that set up.
Then I'm in the middle of getting some kicks built for my diamond audio comps. The kicks will hold the mid range from the set and the tweets will be placed on the A pillars. the kicks will run of the other 100.4. the tweets on cha 1-2 (what freq should I cross them at?) and then the mids off cha 3-4( what freq should I set them up?) and I'll use the crossover from the amp, not the ones from the comp set..
I hear sometimes that for midrange, 4" are better then 6.5's. If so, what 4" drivers would you suggest for the kicks?
Also, like stated above. Where should I cross the tweets and mids on the 100.4?
Thanks for any help or advice you guys can provide!!..
