I have a 91 Dodge Stealth base right now. It is the SOHC and pretty beat up.It starts fine and runs strong but needs brakes and a few other things that will total about 700 dollars. It has 167k on it. I can either keep this and fix it for the 700 or get a new car for less than 1500. The one car I am looking at is this http://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/1333959506.html What would you guys do?

if your going to have to pay to have the clutch replaced in the 300zx it would end up costing about as much as the brakes on the stealth, plus the cost of the car, id keep the stealth.

what are these few other things thats gona cost 700 dollars to fix
Pads and rotors all around, calpiers up front, power steering line, fuel lines, brake lines, spark plugs and plug wires. It all comes to like 680 at the local shop.

keep the stealth and make it nasty always liked those and the 300gt vr4s twin turbo ftw
It is automatic and N/A. I wont be investing that much into it.

if you can do the clutch yourself it might be worth it, i just figured when you said 700 for brakes and a few small stuff you get your work done at shops.

No I wouldnt be able to do the clutch. I dont think it would be too bad to get it done though. My dad is good friends with a local shop owner so he only charges me like 20 bucks an hour for labor. Not sure how long it would take, but he only charged my step dad 80 bucks labor for a full engine swap, plus cost of the motor.
