What Would You Do?

My birthday is coming up.... YES!!!....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif....Right now i have two subs....and one amp...the amp is running at 800w@ 2ohms.....but the amp does 1200w@ 1ohm....i was going to ask for another one....each sub would then get 1200w....instead of the 400w each now.....i feel like its pretty darn loud now....would it only make it a little louder or a lot louder?....what else do you think i will need?....new alt....another battery....what else to install a second amp...?

If its already loud, right? So why go with another amp, wire it done to 1 ohm and call it a day. I would get another battery, upgrade some power wire or what every. But if like your system, keep it. if he has two subs and they're wired at two ohms now, how is he supposed to wire them to one. Either .5, 2, or 8 by my math

I cant wire it down....there dvc 2 ohm subs....has to be @ 2 ohm....thats why if i get another one....they could each get 1200w....i kinda wanna get into comp stuff....would two subs at 1200w each be respectable?...

I meant to write in buy some new subs so he can wire it down to 1 ohm

I just checked the specs and those subs can run 1500rms each, 5000W for burps so you definitely want more power. Especially if you want to compete

nice in a 2 woofer car...these subs were said to hit 168.3dB at a IASCA event...?...thats kinda why i bought them

i don't get that....what does it mean a 5000w burp?....you can't wire 5000w to it all the time....idk i don't get that
