Here is my dilema- i currently have one t30001bd per tc5200 woofer. the way it is now i can run it at 1.2 ohm nominal (around) now, the t30001 puts out the max power at one ohm.. now my other option is this- i had zenon make me some prototype amps.. 2200x1 @ 1 ohm, strappable. (strapped power is around 5kw @ 2ohm, rated) so.. would you run the t30001 per woofer, or would you run the 2 zenons strapped per woofer? i have the electrical for either, that isnt an issue..

try both and see if it makes a difference? then sell the others for the most money you can

main thing i am worried about is the woofers taking 5kw for very long.. dont wanna have to pay for new recones:laugh:

ya that could be an issue. But if you are already reaching the woofers limits now and they are moving fine... why throw an extra 2k or so on em? Unless of course you would set the gains and settings to be daily run without problems. and then for comps crank it a little extra //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Question. How do you get a subwoofer that is showing 1 amp a 1 ohm load to show a differnt amp a 2 ohm load? Or does it just happen to work to 2 ohm because the amps are strapped so tech the each see 1 ohm?

Do you already have the wiring for the extra 2 amps?

I guess only someone who's run a 5200 daily off 5kw could give any real help...
