Because I don't have his number, and I don't know where he lives. If he comes back in, I printed up a copy of my original receipt. I don't know what all he claimed I stole, as it was a he said she said kinda thing relayed to me at work. Im hoping he comes back in so I can set his *** straight. If he still persists, I'll just whip his ***. That was my gut instinct and at times that fails me horribly.

And Forben, stfu. I would hope that everyone on here is honest enough not to break into someone's car and give others the same benefit of the doubt. You're an *******.

You work in a stereo store so you will know this -- when a store sells a HU do they record the serial number? If not, then I would not tell him what the serial number on your unit is unless he first declares in writing somehow what his gma's serial number was. Otherwise he might just use that info against you.

No, they usually don't. BUT, because of people scamming us on warranty replacements and what not, on all Kicker products and Memphis products, we will record every serial number that enters our shop.
