so heres the story (sorry, its kinda long) :

on 6/4 (monday), i sent payment for two products to a certain member of a certain caraudio forum. i did as much research on this member as i could, by searching their screenname and finding positive feedback on them. they had TONS of refs on this particular forum as well. anyways, i received confirmation from this person on 6/7 (thursday) that they had received my paypal payment and that they would be shipping the items w/in two days. they also said they would provide me w/ a tracking number, and add insurance as i requested and paid extra for. 6 days go by and i've heard nothing from them, so i send a PM to them asking what was going on. they respond saying that they haven't shipped my products yet b/c they were in the middle of moving and starting a new job. they also stated in this PM that they "didn't even know about them being sold untill a little bit ago", yet they told me in a PM SIX days earlier that they had received payment!!!!! giving him the benefit of the doubt (i know, moving sucks and all), i tell him that he needs to get in contact w/ me by early THIS WEEK or i would be filing a complaint w/ paypal to try and get my money back. keep in mind that this whole time, he claimed that he had no access to internet...but i saw on his profile that he was signing on daily and still not giving me a **** tracking number or proof that he'd shipped my items. well, here it is 6/19...and no proof of the product even being shipped. this person has not signed on since 6/15 @ 4:12pm. i don't have any other way to contact him (my fault for not getting a phone #), and i don't know what to do. i really want what i bought, and i don't imagine having much luck getting my money back from paypal. what really erks me is that this guy has done A LOT of business on this certain caraudio forum, and now all of the sudden he is MIA. he has sold things for 4 times what i paid him...why would he choose to screw me over for $120.00???

any ideas??

i dont know whats up with this guy, he seemed so nice until recently hes been obviously ignoring.

i know this becuase i have him on my aim, and he loggs in, status away and return (automaticaly idles when not away from computer from a certain period of time, and is online when mouse is moved)

everytime i hear this guy get on i check my computer and question him..its his fault for having a unique ring tone (dog barks) everytime he loggs on.

its an obvious ignore when i ask him somethin..and he loggs off..or just doesnt answer at all...he has giving me his address, but i hope it doesnt go to drastic measures to give it to the police...w/e man.

sorry you had to go through this ordeal as well...you have giving him time..but i feel i give him more than any patient man could wait. 4 months without saying nothing is pretty generous.

i would be going apesh!t if i were you....thats just crazy. i've added him to my aim, but i'm never on there much so i'll probably never see him on.

my dad owns an internet service provider, and knows a lot about internet crimes and such...so i'm going to talk w/ him about the best steps to take in order to nail this douchebag. i'll keep ya posted...

You got his home address? If so, post it and maybe somebody close to him from this forum could go knock on his door for you! Ill do it if hes close to me! That sucks that people screw you over! And id being going apesh!t if somebody was Fing me for 15 days!
