What would you do?

For a reg. cab truck - what would you do with this setup?

1 10'' Fi SSD ported with aeros.

2 10'' FI SSD sealed.

I will be able to give them appropriate space either way.

Take into account I would be saving about $200.00 by going with one. Plus the money I would save on the amp by going with one.

Would it be worth spending about 300 bones more for 2 sealed, or would 1 ported be fine?

Thanks for your opinions guys.

I'm thinking one ported should be about as loud as the two sealed. Besides aeros look cool //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I'm thinking external aeros for this box.

Plus I'm saving about 300 bucks going with one, Im just hoping the ported box stays semi punchy and I'm sure it will punish the lows. Well, as much as one 10 can //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Any objections to the one ported as an overall value compared to the two sealed?

For one 10'' SSD:

I'm thinking about 23 inches tall, 33 inches long, ~4 inches average mounting depth with 1/2 MDF with super bracing.

Should be about 1.3-1.4^3 ft, tuned to 33 hz. External aeros for the port

Sound good?

Also, what kind of truck do you have? I have a reg. cab s10, and I can get 13" height, 12" Bottom Depth, and 6" Top Depth, and 52" Length. All while still having a comfortable amount of legroom.

I have a 1995 Ford F150 reg cab. I have the seat a click up - bottom mounting depth 7 inches, at the top behind the seat is about ~3 inches.

Trust me, I have tried everything. A blow-through is too expensive and I dont have the time to do so. My dad would have a *****fit if he found out I was going to cut my truck up to sound like a "black person" roflmao.

I have exercized the idea of going buckets seats and putting a box between the buckets, and making a small box that sits on the hump in the middle in front of the bench seat, trust me I have tried everything.

Maybe instead of the SSD, the Fi rep on this forum said in the near future there will be an answer to my problem, not sure when they may release this thing though. I'm going to stay patient and optimistic I just dont want to wait until summer for an upgrade.
