I would choice the ported 12... However we need to know more about your goals and budget...

no goals, no budget, just what would you prefer, or is more to your liking

im a single ported 15 man myself,

but in some cases people cant justify the the space used up

i am however having this discussion with a friend, why want the best of both spl and sq, and is restricted to 1.7 in 1" and 1.9cuft in 3/4"

it a wedge box 4" top, 12" base, 16.5" high, 35.5" width

idd suggested 2 ported 10 or sealed 15"

but he wants more as normal budget of around 1k for amp/sub no box

its a generalized question,

not after a setup,

dont really care about brands, amp wattage or port tuning

as its for an all round package to your liking, not mine

lets say average 4 door car, not a 5 door hatch, with only 2cuft to spare

in that case, two 8'2 or two 10's that can function on 2 cubes. or one 12 ported
