What would u recommend?

I am building my box and should get everything installed in a week or 2. I was wondering wut do u think would be best. Facing port towards the front of the car with the back seats down or just facing back towards the back of the car. Its a 2.6@32hz in a 97 mustang.

i was just asking cuz a couple of ppl told me if i could lower back seats then it would move alot more air. With port facing foward.

Form my understanding, if you want to face the subs/prt to the front, you have to seal off everything behind the box. Just point to the rear....near the back of the car. Allow XX inches of room between the back of the ports/subs and the rear of the trunk. This XX number is how wide your port is....Fold your seat down when you can for more ouput. x2. If you look at my mustang install pictures you will see what he is talking about. I sealed off the trunk so the subs only have to pressurize the cabin. It gets incredibly loud. But without sealing anything off, facing the ports towards the rear is the way to go

yup, face it to the rear. sub wave freq'z are long, so it can actually be beneficial for it to travel a little farther before it reaches your ears.
