I'd say, at least 175db's ... if you set it up properly.

~173 sounds much better. However, I think if he added a cap or two in there and ran 0/1 gauge wire he might gain a little bit.

Taking the magnet out of the box will let it cool quicker. This means it can get louder. The coil in the sub cools down quicker than if it was in a box. The F of the speaker goes through the roof, and the Vas remains the same. The Fc will drop accordingly, but that's ok ... because you'll gain that back with the gain in Xmax. Therefore, it's a wise decision to invert.

also, you need to add AT LEAST 4, possibly 10 JL audio stickers on the outside of the vehicle...that'll squeeze you out about 1 to 1.5 dB's extra. peace
