What would be a noticeable uprade in SQ/L over a RE SE-12?

It plays darn good in my setup but it has been in there for 1-2 years now and I was thinking about upping the SPL some with keeping the same SQ or better. I will probably just give my Daughter this SE-12 and the 600.1 amp for her car but keep my 1.0 cu.ft. sealed box. I don't think I want to up the size of the box since I have little room in there now so I kind of doubt being able to step up to a 15. Since I will need to get a new amp I am looking to keep the spending for the sub

Someone else from NE? Wow! We don't have any audio shops that carry any of those huh? I got everything I have on-line or from other States. Do you think just stay 12"? Which of those three plays best and how much power would it take to drive them right?

All three are online, I own an RL-p if you want to hear one. If you want to stay sealed 1.0 cube then a 12 would be good, I believe the SI BM's shine more in ported boxes though.

That would be neat. Maybe we can exchange info or meet up. I went to Realm Of Excursion to see what they looked like since they are first for me and the FI-Q looked to be ported mostly. The Sound Splinter looked pretty impressive too!

man i hurd a MX last night. **** it gets loud. 146 on the mic with compresed music. and its only a 12 in a small ported box(1.8 cu ft ish) very nice driver

Don't have the room back there to for the extra box size. Trying to stay with the same box specs but get more out of anything I can throw in there. If I had the room I probably would have two SE-12's since I like them but I also haven't had a bunch of other subs to compare it with in the SQ department. Out of an Orion and cheaper ID I had before this one is better. Even the cheaper ID-10 I had played darn good.
