Also I do believe I want a class d amp but what 4,2,or 1 ohm load do I want to set it up at?

for an amp i am thinking 300 to 400. I have a alpine v power 300 watt 4 channel that i want to use on my front and back speakers not the subs.

I'd get a nice Alpine mono block to match your other Alpine amp ...

you can find a alpine m500 for 60 to 80 all day long solid amp or if you plan to upgrade get a m1000 or 2000 thats if your like me and **** about matching
