What would be a good 4-channel amp under $200, that would push my 4" & 5 1/4" Pioneer

No offense dnk1998, nor am I trying to ruin your sale, but friends don't let friends turn to Legacy (even if their name is nofriends). There are more people who end up disappointed with Legacy than happy. Check out Profile Clarus amps (http://www.thezeb.com $189 for 75X4 watts RMS) or US Acoustics (http://www.thezeb.com $175 for 65X4 watts RMS). Both are decent all around quality and affordable. I would place bass blockers or small non-polarized capacitors in line with each of your Pioneer speakers to help filter out damaging low bass frequencies (at least on your 4 inch Pioneers).

Thanks for the INFO! Really helped!

I think i'm gonna get a Soundstream Rubicon 204, over a Punch 200.4. I had alot of votes on sounddomain message board like this, for Soundstream. So i'm probably gonna go with that, also someone suggested i should place a bass blocker 600hz over the 4" and bass blocker 150hz to the 5 1/4". Sound good?

I'm not real familiar with the frequency cut off points for 4 inch speakers but 600 hz seems a little high //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif . i have heard 150 hz for 5 1/4 inch speakers before. I too agree with the Soundstream amp but they are not readily available to buy many places. Soundstream was either bought out or they are reorganizing their business so they have not released any new products for a while now. You can find them on Ebay though as well as some stores which may have their older models held in stock. I use to use a Punch 400.4 for mids/highs and I was not impressed at all. The sound quality was ok I guess but the amp was not very efficiant at all. Rockford is deffinately a bass designed amplifier.

So what should i use for the 4" other than a 600hz? But i think 150hz would sound good with the 5 1/4".

Soundstream Rubicon is at http://www.speakersound.com and i think http://www.usacaraudio.com

But i been getting alot of feedback from people i should get the soundstream other than the Punch. People are saying punch will give more power and has good tech support. Also theres alot of votes for the soundstream other than the punch.

what would you get?

I would deffinately get the Soundstream. After I used a 4 channel Punch for mids/highs I will never use Rockford for full range sound again. Awesome bass amps however. As for the cut off point for the 4 1/2 inch speakers, I'm not sure. 600 hz may be necessary, it just sounds a little high to me. 600 hz would not only cut out the low bass frequencies but also would cut into your mid range sound. 4 1/2 inch speakers can't handle much for low frequencies so it is very possible that 600 hz is correct. You could try consulting http://www.crutchfield.com - they sell bass blockers and have a very helpful customer service department.
