I have old pair Kicker Impulse i600 6-1/2 that have gone bad so time for replacement right along with new radio (Boss BV860B flip out screen) for my 88 Truck along with 2 more speaker and later on a 10" sub.
So after lots reading all info on Kicker web site on KS Series KSC670 and CS Series CSC67 and order the KS thinking they be a better over all as they are latest model.
Impulse i600 (Continuous Power Handling RMS 65 Watt) Max 125 Watt cost I forgot that was 15 years ago.
KS Series KSC670 (Continuous Power Handling RMS 100 Watt) Max 200 Watt cost $99 (I got them)
CS Series CSC67 (Continuous Power Handling RMS 100 Watt) Max 300 Watt cost $69
Boy there huge diff in them like the magnet on Impulse i600 is 1/4 thicker and 1" bigger round and heavy to boot with much less wattage.
I'm I wrong but doesn't magnet size play a key role in wattage ?, If that the case then the Kicker is just building cheap stuff over rated stuff and changing an Arm and Leg for there product.
Should have gone with Rockford Fosgate P1650 ?.
