I know these get loud...but sq? Also....I guess it's as bad as saying that I DO want "name brand" but I'd rather something that everybody else in my town doesn't have. Thanks for the help though...everyone.

Cooper, if you can find a used 12" Mag, i would jump on it.

I had a mag, then a Q back to back, the Mag sounded a little better, and got very loud. The Q still sounded good, and got just as loud. So it's a very close second imo.

The 12" Icon is definately another good subwoofer, for just as good a price. I suppose you could call it a toss up between the three of them, but I can assure you'll be happy with any of the three.

Yeah def looking these all up. As for the "set" I still think for space and performance, a meager 1k should be given to one sub only imo...i guess ahah

L7 is not clean like you stated you wanted...

I may be a little biased but i would definitely go with the Mag -- will get plenty loud on 1k and sound **** fine doing so.

I would say a 12" Soundsplinter RLP from having experience with this sub, but from what ive heard, i would consider IDMAX's, SSA ICONS, and of course FI Q's.
