They'd be better than those RF's in every way imaginable. I've heard those Blau tweeters in person and they're nice.

ur not gonna beat either one of those sets on your budget, I have used both sets, both have a 3"vc, so they can take some power, both get very loud, and sound nice doing it...

i had the same speakers but the power series. i was underwhelmed, tweeter was way too f*cking harsh. for $66 though it might be worth the shot. i'm looking for a new set of comps, narrowed down to a few, one of them being:

Old ones were much better new ones are plastic cone bullcrap i know i sell them everyday

first hand experience... good stuff. i'd like to know more....what are those cones actually made from? Aren't a lot of high end speakers made form that same material...polyproeline (sp?)?

They ****, why don't you listen to the experienced buys on here, especially the ones who sell them. The rsd's are much better

i'm not going for any side. i was just asking that other guy a question. like i said, i had practically the same set. i wasn't 100% satisfied, but who's to say you wouldn't be? For $66 i'd say go for it. if you don't like, you could get most of your money back selling them on here or craiglist, not too big of an investment. i do think the "V.A.S.T. surround" is kind of gimmicky, but as for most products made of proprietary parts, to find them cheaper is a pleasant surprise
