I searched around and read about W3's 10's by JL and some people said to avoid a certain version, and I am wondering if that is this version.

The seller on craiglist has three of these in a sealed box for 190. Right now I have two diamond d3 DVC 2ohm subs in a sealed box, and I am not super impressed with them (but i only paid 140.) What should I do?

I dont have any experience with the D3's but I have owned a few of the original w3's and they are really great subs. For the deal you posted for the JL's I think you'll be happy with the JL's. The original w3's can get nice and loud and still sound good.

K now the amp I will be working with is an KAR 900.1D that puts out 1000w RMS at 1ohm

So each sub would be getting about 333w RMS... That sound good? Also how much could i get for the two D3's in the sealed box? I was thinking i should ask like 200 on craigslist.

Port your D3's would be the easiest, build new box no need to sell subs.

Have heard they get pretty loud ported.

Build ported box if it isnt loud enough then go look for new subs, there will be better deals here and in craigs list.

well over your looking at probably using one sheet which is about $25 then glue will be idk $5 at the most. I use a nail gun instead of screws just to hold the box together while its drying because the glue will be stronger than the wood itself. So all in all your not going to spend more than 50.
