This was my first box. Each side is 1.50 cubic ft .75 cubic ft per sub space. I have alot of cancelation due to the subs firing at each other. Oh well we live and learn. I am in plans of making a ported box for 2 subs that will destroy the lousy 144.5 DBs it hit.

I know it looks horrible not done routing rcas, wires or anything else

Looks pretty good to me! Although, that sure is a lot of "stuff" in that trunk, will you be able to keep your rear window???? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

The good thing bout that box no trunk rattle. I Believe it was a termlab mic . Now i gotta clean up the trunk . I dont like audiobahns but i got them real cheap.

x2...get better equitment...

If those subs are the higher end ones (which they look to be) then just one of his subs will stomp on your little "type r powa".It's not about what brand is stamped on it, it's how it performs. If he's happy with the stuff now, why should he upgrade?

A few comments...

144.5 out of a sealed system in a daily driver is quite respectable. It looks as though you have good construction skills, that being said, you wasted your time by 1) using particleboard instead of MDF and by 2) putting in the Plexi. The ringing of the "wood" is costing you dB as is the flex of the Plexi. At sub bass frequencies the drivers facing each other isn't going to cause cancellation. In effect the four drivers are all pressurizing the common space that they all fire into and they should be summing quite well assuming that there is enough surface area on the open end.

Thanks for all the luv I had alot of particle board laying around and this was my first attempt to build a abox. The plexi was so u could see my flashy subs that everyone likes to look at lol( it leaked until i ran a bead of silicone round the edges). My ported box will be of of MDF thanks to this forum i am learning alot of useful info so i can make everything perform better And yes the plexi does flex i will probly replace the plexi with mdf

yes they are the flame qs 4 1206ts with 2 1800 watt amps. I know they are audiobahn but i like them.
well thats good that u like em...my personal opinion is that i do not like a-bahns...no matter how "high quality" they are...u acnt post on a forum and expect everyone to just be amazed at what u have....atleast ONE person will flame u...its to be expected...so dont tweek ur shi* on me because i spoke my mind
