well i was using some liquid nail and just putting some screws in. thats definitley not doing the job as the box is coming out of the seams, ive seen people line the inside edges with fiberglass, does that work best? and what do i need to do that

my guess would be some resin and fiberglass maybe? cheap brushes and some gloves would help too

Use wood glue such a titebond and screws to hold the box together. Silicone caulk can be used to make sure everything is sealed well. Fiberglass and resin would be way more expensive, but has potential to add strength to a box also. If your box is comming apart you need to worry about making it sturdy rather than sealing it up.
