not much room, not doing a blow through, so no one suggest it lol.

Its a complete budget build.

The truck itself was 700 bux.

So far I've got the mids/highs taken care of, only costing 135 shipped (2 sets of rsd 6.5s)

Interior I'm redoing myself in tweed and vinyl (cheap) so maybe 300 there max.

Ill pick out hu that's not too much money, then all I need is subs. I'm thinking 8s or 10s. Not sure what amp I'm gonna run yet, but if I can find an eD nine.5 for a good price ill get that, giving me 600 (underrated) rms @ 1 ohm.

Any pics of some single cab systems? Should I just stick with a sealed enclosure? By the time I mount the amp and subs, if I still have to add ports, the box is gonna be like .000001 cu ft, lol.

Ill get measurements monday, but going by the money I've spent already, what subs should I run?

is it a stick or auto? i've thought about building a small sealed box and sticking it on the transmission hump kinda tucked under the dash a bit, having a curved (fiberglass) bottom to conform to the shape of the floor, so as not to slide around, with the sub angled upwards a bit. but if its a stick nvm.

Its an auto, but I don't really wanna do that. Reason I got this truck also was becuase driving the mini cooper everyday, its cramped inside..I wanted something with more room, so I kinda like the open floor space.

aw c'mon, like your feet are ever gonna be up there...

but the open floor space is kinda nice. esp. if you have a 3rd person, gives them a place to tuck their feet.

i have a single cab chevy and i just put 2 sundown E8's in there, its about 1.2^3 ~35hz

7" at the bottom 4" at the top and like 48" wide, had to slide the seat up a bit, but i can sacrifice some leg room for good sound.

it can be done.

i put a AQ HD310 powered with a Cadence ZRS10

all behind the seat in my reg cab s10

still had plenty of leg room

Dude, the truck was only $700:D

I remember in the early 90s when I first heard a pair of 12s in a single cab Ford Ranger done by one of the local installers. This guy was 6' 2" and I wanted to know where in the hell he put the 12s. They were in the bed:emb: Then again, that creates another set of problems. You pretty much need to fiberglass your box, get a bed cover, get the boot to go between the cab and the bed, cut both, and... Ah screw it, that is too much work for a sub stage.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

IMO your best bet is an array of 8's, or some slim line 12's.

Just go with the new mag. I believe they're d2 coils, they're only 5.5'' deep, 600 watts would be perfect, and they only need 1 cube sealed. Or you could make a 1.25 cube and stick a single 4'' port and fire it towards one of the corners and stick a 10'' RE SE in there. Here's a pic of my reg cab ranger with a 10'' Fi BL in 1.5 cubes. I didn't lose any legroom because the box is directly behind the passenger seat.

I can send you some more pics if you want through a pm.
