what to get to power 2 American Bass xfl1244

What amp should I get to power 2 XFL1244 in a ported box? Planning to run at 1 Ohm. Must be class D monoblock. I really want to run about 3000w clean power to them but I don't think I'll be able to do that with my budget ($400ish). I was thinking something like a Hifonics Brutus BRX2400.1D (2400w RMS @ 1 Ohm) or a Lanzar OptiDrive OPTI4001D (2600w RMS @ 1 Ohm, 4000w RMS @ .5 Ohm).

subsonic is a filter that you set so the subs wont play any frequencies under where its set at .the low pass is set so that the amp and sub doesnt play any frequencies over the set point .you need about a 3k amp for the subs

Why not just get the dual 2 ohm XFL's & grab that OPTI4001D and run it @ .5 - Set it to 3k with a DMM...

also remember with anything in the 3k range, your going to need some electrical work to keep it happy.

Those subs deserve better, yeah i used the apsm's and liked them, but these do deserve better.

If they were d2 my kicker would throw 2800ish to them wired at 1ohm it would put out 3k+ but it would be power hungry.

I can offer my kicker kx2500.1 for 425shipped

I think I would rather spend an extra $200 on an amp that will put out 4k @ 1 Ohm (Lanzar OptiDrive OPTI4000D) more efficiently than an $400 to $600 on a H/O alternator to run .5. I will be getting a Kinetik HC3800 to go with this, plus I have done the big 3 (1/0) on what i already have. Thanks for the filter explanation and the advice.

You're going to need some pretty stout electrical whether you run 3000 at 1 or 0.5... You'll be dipping down to 12v every time the bass hits and a HO alt should really be something you consider. If you can't afford it, get 1 xfl D2 and a 1500w or so amp to power it and the electrical to back everything.. Then save up and get a second XFL and amp and strap them.
