same here, was lazy in hs. college was even easier for me. i worked 50hrs a week and went to 3 classes a week after work. i enjoyed it tho. but i'm one of those people that can hear something and remember it. i take notes just to be sure on some things. but i liked to take a tape recorder w/ me and record the lecture that way i can relisten to it later on and catch anything i missedi was pretty lazy in high school.... but i did great in college. the shoe defiantly does not fit everyone though. start at a CC
i enjoy writing papers.The worst part to me is writing papers..I hate having to write 5 papers in each English Comp class..

If you have to take a year or 2 away to figure out the direction YOU want to take in life then so be it. If you are on to something that motivates you, then honestly it will become a breeze.
