What to expect?

The hardest thing for me is going to class....lawl. Once you get to college you are pretty much on your own and you have to be your own boss. GO TO CLASS! The problem I had was that my schedule was setup to where I had an hour break between most classes, so I would come home and come up with some excuse for not going back lol. Try to get all MWF or all Tues, Thur classes. The library is your friend...you will spend a lot of time there:crap: Last thing, Alumni and Professors! They all have friends in the business world, and they do recruit.

Be organized, come up with a schedule and stick to it! Having a good daily routine/schedule can make things a lot easier:fyi: Also don't forget...this is college, so have some fun! Work hard...party harder!

i was pretty lazy in high school.... but i did great in college. the shoe defiantly does not fit everyone though. start at a CC
same here, was lazy in hs. college was even easier for me. i worked 50hrs a week and went to 3 classes a week after work. i enjoyed it tho. but i'm one of those people that can hear something and remember it. i take notes just to be sure on some things. but i liked to take a tape recorder w/ me and record the lecture that way i can relisten to it later on and catch anything i missed

The worst part to me is writing papers..I hate having to write 5 papers in each English Comp class..
i enjoy writing papers.

The key IMO is making sure you are going down a path that truly interests and motivates you. If you have to take a year or 2 away to figure out the direction YOU want to take in life then so be it. If you are on to something that motivates you, then honestly it will become a breeze.
