what to expect with two 15" Mags

can you show me what he told me, i don't recall asking him about the difference from one 15 ported and two sealed. So don't talk unless you know what you're taling about.You really didn't have to come into my thread. I am just asking the difference i would hear between sealed and ported Mags. Like i mentioned never really dealt with sealed before. I did speak with Nick, however was checking to see if anyone else ran ported and sealed. So please gtfo

yeah stupid me, two 12's ported and one 15 ported are the exact same thing. thanks for the help. I've got two 15" mags, but wouldn't be able to help you as much as some other people would such as Lloyd or showrides.

I used to have my mag15 in 3.5@32hz and changed to 2.6 sealed. I personally love the sealed box a lot more. It doesn't have the big peak and output it had with the ported box, but the response is a lot flatter and transients seem a bit better.

I enjoyed my 15" mag in 2.5 cubes sealed w/1200wrms throughly...Better then 3.5 cubes net @ 28 Hz...I think you will definately be pleased with 2 15" mags sealed...But that is just me.

thanks for your opinion through your experiences and thank you to Cellerbr as well. i am sure i'll be happy, it's the anticipation thats killing me. Everytime i see Lloyds sig i watch the video of the Mag 12's doing 150 to Alan Jackson. I'm amazed everytime i see it. Unfortunately i can't port in this vehicle, but when i get my suv most def will port. Thanks for all positive replies

I wouldn't go sealed if my life depended on it, i say you should get both the mags ported.

For 15" Mags, go sealed. At least that's the advice I got from Nick of SI. He said the 15s work like a dream in a 2.5 - 3 cubic foot sealed enclosure. He said if you really want great MUSICAL bass, go with a sealed 15.

don't have the option right now, but with the power i have i would prefer ported. Had the one ported and was happy, but can't fit the two.

T-money you should be pleased with the 2 15s sealed. I would suggest more power, however. If you had 1500 to each, that would probably be optimal but the power you have now should work fine. Let us know!
