What to expect going from 15" L7(900w)to 18" Q (1500 watts)?

Ok... I have been wanting to get a new setup for a while now..

Have always wanted an 18"..

Have read nothing but awsome things about the Fi Q series..

I currently have a 15" L7 in a 4ft^3 box tuned to 35hz running off of 900 watts and pulled a 142.5dB on the TL... I do not want to lose any SPL by switching to the Q..I also want more low-end than the L7 provides..

My cousin is about to sell a Rockford 1501bd and I think it would be perfect to match up with a 18" Q...

I have a chevy blazer and would probably put the Q in around a 8ft^3 box tuned to around 32hz or so..

So heres my question.. Anyone have an idea if I would still be just as loud as I am now and maybe even gain some low end?? I know it will be better SQ wise..

Also, will my 100amp stock alt be able to handle a 1501bd and an Orion 400.2 ??

Any ideas on what size box and tuning to put the Q in??

I guess my main goal is really to get some KILLER low-end...

My L7 is the 05 model.. Don't know if it will last with 1500-1700 watts...It aint the new 06... If i knew it would last id probably keep it.. Don't wanna fry it though.

Now you're considering the Q. From all the hype I would say go Q if you have teh moneys

a 15'' L7 will survive off of that 1501bd, but still go with the 18'' Q.

Its going to be one hell of a setup. your 100 amp alt should be fine with the 1501 expect some dimming.
