Just to clear up a common misconception, NO HEAD UNIT IS 155 WATTS! I would bet that you have seen or heard a H.U. That produces anymore then 22 watts per channel!
Now, i am assumming that you are asking what kind of mids you should go for? Its been my experience that you go out and listen to as many as possible and draw a conclusion for yourself, but some brands that i have worked with and liked are

its 155 peak but as far as more than 22wrms alpine makes one that does 27wrms. but what are you lookin for good sq or just new speakers for a decent price? if ya want good sq go with some of the speakers bassiklowz stated but if ya want somthin cheap just to replace them get some cheaper polks or pioneers maybe they sound decent but just cost a lot less
Yes, I want better SQ. I'm trying to get specifics on the amp. So far I've found out its a Panasonic...the Pilot is so new there's little doco on it. Obviously 22w or 27w is not enough to drive a set of components. I wonder though with a subwoofer in the 7 speaker original mix, how they could possibly drive that with 22 watts.
