when calculating slot port length with this http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp, when you put in the box volume is that total volume including where the port will be or the volume minus port area? Im designing a box and need to know so my frequency is not way off. Thanks .

Most calculators I've used, it's the internal volume WITHOUT port volume.

I tested the calculator for my box's tuning, and it predicted within 1/2" my port length.

I have 36" wide and 22" deep to play with, no more than 18" high. Want it to be around 7cubes tuned to 30hz for an 18. Sub up port back for an suv. Help would be much appreciated.
