I have made a thread and got some ideas on amps so i wanted to add a couple in one big thread and see what the decision is. I am looking for an amp to power 2 2007 12 inch dual4 ohm subs.....please help me decide......my budget is around 200....

I'd go with the Profile, personally.

I wonder about the power ratings on that Crunch unit. 1.5kW for $160 new? Hmm...

But if going with the Profile I'd honestly get it from the eBayer I linked you to earlier. It would be cheaper than MillionBuy (as MillionBuy's price before shipping was equal to barneyselectronics price with shipping) plus I will personally attest to you having zero issues getting product from barneys.

Behind that I would go with the Kicker. I just don't know about the Crunch amp and I like the Kicker better than the HiFonics.

i cant do ebay because i have yet to pay my fees...because i was selling stuff onthere and they ended and then someone hacked my shit and reposted...so i have to make up the difference.....do you like the profile over the kicker?

Anyway....yes, I like the Profile over the Kicker, actually.

Knowing that the Kicker is likely of better "quality" (even though a refurb) I have to take into account that I have personally owned several Profile California-series amps of varying models and they always showed to be rock-solid reliable when not asked to do more than they were built for.

Add to that even after you factor in that the Kicker is likely underrated somewhat and the opposite it true for the Profile the AP2000 will still make more power than the KX750.1 for around the same money.

Having said that I don't think you'd be unhappy with either if your preferences aren't in line with mine.
