Here is the deal, I want to spend about 200 - 250 bucks for a sub or subs to go into a boat. I know this is a car audio forum, but I use all car audio and pro audio in the boat anyway. The sub will go into a sealed box, I was thinking 1 -15" sub. In an open environment I don't think you can get really good SQ, is that right? The sub will be powered by a Hifonics BX1205D amp. I was also looking at getting 2 - 12's but I just can't decide. I already have a Boston 10.5lf, it was in our old boat and it seemed too SQ oriented to work well in a boat.
